Inspiration.

When we first came up with the idea to film a crime thriller opening sequence we looked for programmes or movies out there already that we could draw inspiration from. The first one that came to mind was CSI.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation  is an American crime drama television series. The show was created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It is filmed primarily at Universal Studios in Universal City, California.
The series follows Las Vegas criminalists as they use physical evidence to solve grisly murders in this unusually graphic drama.

In this opening sequence they introduce the situation with different shots of New York City where the crimes have been commited. There are voice overs of various members of the New York public complaining about the murderer whom this episode is obviously focusing on. Then it introduces the two main detectives who are going about their daily business, as they come into contact with the 'Cab driver killer' who has dumped a dead body on the street, this introduces the crime, and then leads onto the investigation, leaving the audience is sligth suspense, but also expecting that they will eventually figure out who the killer is and get justice, along with a n interesting plot ahead.
